SOAPBOX is a one-night screening presented by the Royal College of Art's Moving Image Pathway students. This event is a self-curated, student run initiative to present the multi-faceted nature of the moving image as a vehicle for political expression, theory, self-exploration, and information. This screening is a diverse collection of 30 works and excerpts ranging from experimental cinema and performance to animation, curated under a 3-minute umbrella. The 3-minute challenge capitalizes on the short-film format as a way of presenting a range of voices.
